Copper, Brass and mixed metals
Mixed Metals Recovery and Processing
Metals are the raw materials most in demand in the market, and for this reason they are also among the most expensive and difficult to source. Being able to recycle the mixed metals contained within machinery, electronic equipment or other is essential to generate secondary raw materials. This reduces the environmental impact given by extracting and refining them, as well as keeping their price at more depreciable levels on the production floor. The recycling process then starts with a volumetric reduction performed with our ALPHA primary shredder, which is capable of tearing the components, releasing the contained metals and separating them from the aggregates. This results in pieces that are easier to process during subsequent crushing and refining within our FAF, MINIMILL and DIMILL series hammer mills, which are capable of separating ferrous metals, from nonferrous and inerts quickly and cost-effectively.
