HMS2 (Heavy Melting Steel Scrap) includes light ferrous scrap such as thin-walled pipes, sheet metal, painted or enameled steel, and materials of domestic origin such as appliances, cans, and laminates.
These materials, which are more heterogeneous and lightweight, require specific sorting, cleaning and volumetric reduction processes in order to be reintroduced into the production cycle by melting.
