Machines for volumetric reduction and compaction of rebar
Rebar is a steel product used to reinforce concrete in building construction. Scrap produced during processing, use, or demolition can be reintroduced into the steel industry but requires volumetric reduction treatment to facilitate transportation and casting operations. This can be done by cutting the rebar into small parts with the DELTA twin-shaft shredder, or by compacting it using the MIZAR and BIBLO presses.
