WEEE
WEEE treatment
Waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) is a type of waste that is increasingly growing in today’s consumer world and thus represents one of the biggest challenges for the immediate future. Once treated inappropriately, it has seen in recent years, a great development in processing and refining methodologies. Indeed, WEEE is waste rich in valuable materials such as steel, iron, brass, aluminum and copper. Gold and precious components normally called “rare earths” can even be recovered from the proper processing of batteries and electronic boards. Our facilities, are capable of tearing and shredding the components of these wastes, preparing them for the final granulation and separation operation necessary to valorize 100% of the materials contained.
